
Today, I will be talking about Italy's delicious cuisine. First of all, our diet changes from region to region. For example, pasta and pizza was originally a southern dish, and risotto (a rice dish) plus polenta (a simple cornmeal dish) originated in the northern part of Italy. Not to mention, I love cheese as do many Italians and we are not lacking. There are over 400 types of cheese that are made here such as Parmesan, asiago, and mozzarella. Also, Italians use herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and parsley to season our food. We love eating and at every main meal bread and wine is served. Here children are even allowed to taste wine!
