government is an important part of society though not all governments are the same, Russia's is a federation, and the capital is Moscow. The chief of state is president Dmitriy Anatolyevich since May 7, 2008. Russia got its Independence in august 24, 1991 from the Soviet Union. The suffrage age is the same as in America, 18. the Constitution was adopted December 12, 1993.
