Hello it is Hans Meier agian! Here in Germany we celebrate Cristmas the same way you Amereicans do , but we have more Cristmas celebrations here like Saint Nikolous eve, which is a tradition that is equivalent to you Santa Claus. We also celebrate May Day, a celebration of the coming of Spring and to drive away evil spirits, we celebrate it by getting the day off from work and school, it is a public holiday also. One of our most important holidays is Ostern, or Easter. We also celebrate Oktoberfest, which is not technically a holiday, but a festival.
