Hi there! I just thought that I'd tell you a little bit about the food we enjoy hear in Iceland. We have tons of fresh seafood all year long, which I love, because one of my favorite meals is fresh cod! Iceland is actually known all over the world for its fresh, delectable fish that we enjoy daily. We also have a lot of game, including geese. We are known for our fresh food; we are able to grow food here with minimal pollution. Poultry is also big here; we eat a great deal of turkey, duck, and chicken. I love the cheese made in Iceland; there are over eighty varieties. Some of them have even earned awards for their scrumptious flavor; they ar
e famous worldwide. Two of the most famous types are skyr and myra. They have been enjoyed for hundreds of years! Although we are extremely far north, we are still able to grow quality vegetables, such as cabbage and potatoes. (I'm not a huge fan of the cabbage.) My favorite food, though, is my mother's famous dish, crepes with whipped cream. They are sort of like pancakes with various fillings crammed inside. Well, I'll talk to you later!

That's really cool! We have a lot of seafood here in Athens as well.
