Family life here in Germany

Here in Germany most people, including myself, live in apartments, because houses cost a lot here. The man is usually the head of the house and both men and women work here, but there are still stay at home mothers here just as anywhere else. We typically live a relaxed life style here, which I enjoy. A lot of people do volunteer work here, and and family, friendships and leisure are usually more important than work here. My favorite part of family life here is sitting together for dinner some times, but I also like family outings.
