I'll admit jazz is not my music, but Brussels holds a huge music festival. Dirk's cousin is a major jazz fan, so he naturally wanted to tell me all about this. It's in the spring and brings over 250,000 fans to Belgium's capital. There are all kinds of musical performances with over 400 musicians who play in all different local places. Those who attend the "Marathon" have the chance to see more than 120 concerts and a lot of other free performances, with the price of one ticket. I would think you have to be in love with jazz to attend this event; I don't know how anyone could endure that much jazz. If you're a fan of jazz come visit beautiful Brussels and enjoy the music.
