Here in Italy, we have a wide range of taste in our music. Our main categories are classical, opera, pop, hip hop, rock, jazz, and folk. Also, Italy has many aspiring songwriters called cantautori. One of my favorite Italian singers is Gianna Nannini whose genre is rock, and she recorded the CD Perle. Another awesome singer I listen to is Alexia whose music is hip-hop, and she has sold over 6,000,000 albums worldwide. Most of all, my friends and I listen to Laura Pausini, famous for her love songs and strong voice. Of course, I love Italy's classic tunes too as they are a major part of our country's atmosphere.
