Football is obviously the main sport in Italy. We have one the coveted world cup a staggering four times! This number is only second to Brazil and we have been runnner up twice to them. After futbol comes water polo, and then cycling where we have won more championships than anyone else. These two manly sports are dominated every year by Italian athletes. It is understood if you are jelous.
In France, football is a very popular sport. Cycling is also very big just like in your country. We hold the tour de France for cycling every year on the first saturday of July and it lasts three weeks.
